virtual ad

  Dave 4 Jul 2009, 10:09 am (EST)

Well, aside from the fact that he's obviously got the ghey: It's a three camera high-def shoot, and they're all wearing makeup. Disney's jumped the shark. Someone in marketing needs to be fired.

Your Name Here 4 Jul 2009, 10:38 am (EST)

It was not fake, we are to be married on the 5 of June 2010. so f off a holes.

Your Name Here 4 Jul 2009, 11:57 am (EST)

Your Name Here 4 Jul 2009, 12:02 pm (EST)

That was super sweet! I hope you two really do live happily ever after!

My Name 4 Jul 2009, 12:47 pm (EST)

Awww now I have to come up with a new proposal idea

  Fake? 4 Jul 2009, 1:00 pm (EST)

Why is that homosexual man proposing to a woman?

  Shamed 4 Jul 2009, 1:47 pm (EST)

This was a great proposal, congrats to the couple and shame on the losers who are so full of self-loathing that they mock him.

  Happy 4 Jul 2009, 1:58 pm (EST)

Why is it impossible to believe that a guy would go to this much trouble for a girl he loves? And even worse, why does every guy who can sing have to be gay? You're the same people who think Hugh Jackman is gay, aren't you? Congrats to the happy couple! (I would believe it was fake if she had sung too)

  grey 4 Jul 2009, 2:56 pm (EST)

soooo fake

Hooray ad! 4 Jul 2009, 3:09 pm (EST)

I mean, boooo

  Adv. 4 Jul 2009, 3:13 pm (EST)

Could be real, I assume that the guy is a pro singer who asked Disney to help out by providing actors and choreographers and wiring them up for mics, and professional recording equip. Good idea, became total crap.

  Hater 4 Jul 2009, 4:13 pm (EST)

I give them a year.

  Hmmm. 4 Jul 2009, 4:30 pm (EST)

He must be a singer to begin with. Maybe Showtunes or Barbershop? I wonder how much that cost him to pull that off. I wish them happieness if it was real!

Cynical Romantic 4 Jul 2009, 4:38 pm (EST)

Y'know, it's astonishing how many people have to be horrible to other people to make themselves feel better about themselves. I'm sure this guy arranged everything ahead of time - I assumed he might be a current or former employee (thus the dancing/singing fu) and the park helped him out 'cause it was a nifty notion. Some people really do go to outrageous lengths for their loves. If any of you haters had an ounce of soul in you, you'd appreciate instead of flinging crap like the apes you are. I wish those two every joy and lots of laughter and love. And the rest of you haters can kiss my butt.

Your Name Here 4 Jul 2009, 5:07 pm (EST)

I would KILL my boyfriend if he ever did that. After I simply walked away from this embarrassing spectacle, of course.

Arthur Lewis 4 Jul 2009, 5:58 pm (EST)

Maybe the dude and the street sweeper would make a better pair.

  Com'on 4 Jul 2009, 9:03 pm (EST)

Well.. that looks a bit like in asian dramas

  incurable 4 Jul 2009, 9:13 pm (EST)

and I thought I was a cynic, was going to send the link to my stepmom, but I don't want her to see the nasty comments. it's sweet and I CHOOSE to believe.

HEY EVERYONE! LOOK AT ME! 4 Jul 2009, 9:23 pm (EST)

Narcisistic personality disorder... Always a great angle to base a proposal on. I'm honestly impressed he managed to remember to leave with her after he was done basking in all the attention he'd drawn for himself.

  pimpin 4 Jul 2009, 9:30 pm (EST)

Your proposal has just been beaten down by the force of disney. Now that is love....

  Scott n Indy 5 Jul 2009, 12:53 am (EST)

It would be more believable if he was proposing to another guy. Obviously this was staged.

Your Name Here 5 Jul 2009, 12:55 am (EST)

That is the fakest thing I have seen all day. I can't believe anyone would believe this was a real marriage proposal.

el polacko 5 Jul 2009, 3:42 am (EST)

give me a break... that was the fakest thing ever. who wrote the lyrics and did the choreography ? how stupid can people be to think that this could just happen spontaneously.. and that she would say 'yes' right on cue ? how many times a day does this little show take place ?

  meat_tornado 5 Jul 2009, 5:30 am (EST)

What. A. Fag.

  GG 5 Jul 2009, 12:14 pm (EST)

Oh, brother, is this every cheesy! The guy seems a little too full of himself and reminds me of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

Your Name Here 5 Jul 2009, 12:30 pm (EST)

Wonderful. I hope they live happily ever after. That guy has more cojones than most of us. As for who wrote the lyrics , d'uh maybe he did with the help of a few others. Some people can do that ya know. As for the choreography it wasn't exactly Cats now. It was a sweet thing he did for the love of his life, let's just be happy and put the cynicism to side for one moment.

  TD 5 Jul 2009, 7:44 pm (EST)

I'd prance around like a fool for 5 minutes to get a babe like that.

Your Name Here 5 Jul 2009, 9:15 pm (EST)

Its so funny that people keep saying no way this is real. Do you idiots not realize the fact he got together with the others and REHEARSED this spectical. You do know that plays and musicals don't just happen spontaneously. People practice many hours to do stuff like this. But thank you for reminding me how stupid the majority of people are on the internet.

  ... 6 Jul 2009, 1:08 am (EST)

we are all fags for watching this

  Andrea 6 Jul 2009, 4:55 am (EST)

Disgusting!!!!!!!

  Kiera 6 Jul 2009, 6:00 am (EST)

Gosh some of theses comments are harsh - leave the guy alone he did a really romantic thing for his girl why can't some get that there is some guys who would go to lengths like that geez!

  sheila 6 Jul 2009, 1:01 pm (EST)

What a cheeeeeeseball! I was embarrassed for her! I mean look at her face expressions! I don't find this proposal romantic AT ALL!

  RyuShoji 7 Jul 2009, 2:41 am (EST)

Well, if it IS indeed real, then kudos to him - especially as that is where they first met. Only thing is, it must have been embarrassing for her with all those people watching - I would have said no just to screw with him, but maybe say yes later in private xD Thing is, as people said, first the guy would have had to contact Disney World to see if it was possible, then after that he would have had obviously have to rehearse with the people there.

And if it is indeed fake...then it's a good marketing campaign. The singing, even from him, seemed a bit too good, so I wouldn't be surprised he if was either a professional, or an employee of Disney.

Either way, after this Disney World is going to get more revenue from people who want to copy cat xD

Hugh Jackman 9 Jul 2009, 12:15 am (EST)

Wow, this guy is even gayer than me, and I'm pretty damn gay.

  vampire 9 Jul 2009, 5:41 am (EST)

Hi folks. I just want to say that was a lot of work and effort and it was lovely. Hope they have many happy years together and just ignore the ignoramus sods who cant say a good thing about anybody. They have hate in their souls. Have fun you guys and that is what keeps a marriage going. I should know, I have clocked up 26 years of fun. Blessings to the happy couple.

  Cynthia 10 Jul 2009, 6:29 pm (EST)

Obviously, he used to (or still does) work at WDW. Why can that not be real and he went to amazing lengths to make a romantic proposal to his girlfriend. I know a guy who rented armor and a white horse to propose to a friend of mine. Some men actually aren't as insecure as some of the male posters on this tread. Some men actually are confident and love their soon-to-be fiance and want to make a moment extraordinary.

  Rae 12 Jul 2009, 3:21 am (EST)

Real or not why do people think a proposal like this is romantic and not bordering on embarrassing someone in to saying yes to one of the most important decisions of their lives. If you want to do something romantic like this wait till you've actually been married for a year or two! Then do it to celebrate how long you've been together.

What if she wanted to say no?

  Lynne 11 Sep 2009, 8:01 am (EST)

Love this!

Got something to say?
