Totally justified. The Dutch are too intelligent and proud to obey "Name, rank and serial number!" from some dimwit NBC journalist.

The answer is, yes. She's stupid. Or too lazy to read his name, his country and what he just won herself RIGHT OFF THE GIANT SCREEN in the arena.
Being from Holland, Kramer would be used to sports journalists who are aware of what event that they are covering and who the key athletes are, and otherwise know how to use their brains and eyeballs.
